    This is a museum quality reproduction of a piin made in 1944 to celerbrate the libration of Paris from the Germans. There were a lot of happy people on July 24, 1944 when Paris was liberated. The pin is in the shape of France and on the back it shows the location of Paris and the main rivers of France. The pin is 1 1/16 inch tall and has a 24k gold plate over sterling silver.

      These are very rare paratrooper badge. Phillips Publications of Williamstown,, NJ had these badges also made for sale at military shows. These have also become extremely rare and this is a museum quality reproduction of that badge. It is hallmarked Phillips Publications and sterling. This badge is also rather thick and heavy.
