F-104 Starfighter Jagdbomergeschwader 31 "Boelcke"

Designed by Clarence "Kelly" Johnson and Lockheed Skunk Works for the U.S. Air Force, the F-104 Starfighter supersonic interceptor was developed to operate from forward air fields, accelerate rapidly from the ground, and fight at high altitudes.

Measuring a massive 36" long, this limited edition, plastic model of the first Mach 2+ F-104G delivered to the West German Air Force features almost as many amazing details as the real thing. You get recessed panel lines and simulated rivets; a fully-outfitted cockpit with a Martin Baker ejection seat with belts, a parachute pack, and an opening canopy; prototypically canted wings; movable flight control surfaces, including a rudder, ailerons, and leading and trailing edge flaps; a fuselage-mounted AIM-9 Sidewinder dual-launch rail with a pair of removable missiles; wingtip fuel tanks painted with "International Orange" colors; optional-position landing gear (with real rubber tires!) that perfectly replicates the F-104's unusual arrangement; a splinter camouflage scheme with authentic markings, including a Jagdbomergeschwader 31 "Boelcke" tail shield; and much more.
