Item Number: FMPAN041
Pan Am (74-85 Colors) Boeing 727-200 Scale 1:200 - Length 9.5 in. - Wingspan 6.75 in.
This model represents Pan Am's 727-200 N361PA "Clipper Berlin" in the Pan Am livery used from 1974 to 1985. Ship N361PA was delivered new to Pan Am in 1979 and used by the airline until 1991, when the airline ceased operations. The Clipper name on this aircraft changed from Clipper Berlin to Clipper Rival and finally to Clipper Shalom.
The 727 was the only Boeing designed trijet produced. The 727-200 was built in both freighter and passenger versions. Boeing originally planned to build only 250 of the 727-100 model. However, after the larger 189-passenger 727-200 version was introduced and shown around the world, the popularity of the 727 resulted in Boeing building 1,832 in all versions between 1962 and 1984.
Flight Miniatures models are true-to-scale replicas of actual aircraft, depicting their authentic physical configuration and livery. By working closely with aircraft manufacturers and airlines, we are able to insure the accuracy of the details, right down to the registration number.
