Named in honor of the famous World War II B-17 Flying Fortress "Memphis Belle," this 1/72 scale, die cast Hobby Master model of the F-105D Thunderchief "Memphis Belle II" - flown by Major Buddy Jones of the 357th Tactical Fighter Squadron, 355th Tactical Fighter Wing, stationed at Takhli Royal Thai Air Force Base in 1968 - features a detailed cockpit with a pilot figure; removable armament and fuel tanks; optional position air brakes and landing gear; authentic markings, including a pin-up girl based on the original Memphis Belle's and two red stars for victories over MiG-17s; and more. 10¾" long; includes a display stand.
