In 1949, the Swedish Air Force took delivery of 50 former Royal Air Force Spitfire PR.XIX aircraft and designated them S 31.
This 1/48 scale, die cast Hobby Master model of one of those high-speed S 31s flown by the F.11 Flight Reconnaissance Wing stationed at Nyköping, Sweden, features engraved panel lines, a fully outfitted cockpit with a removable pilot figure and a sliding canopy, a rotating five-blade metal propeller, three camera compartments (two beneath the rear fuselage and one on the port side of the fuselage), retractable metal landing gear, authentic markings, and more. 9¼" wingspan; includes a display stand.
