After months-long negotiations, Northwest Airlines announced its merger with the third-largest airline, Delta Air Lines, to become the world��_s biggest airline. Shareholders and the antitrust authority, however, still have to approve the deal. It is currently still uncertain anyway, when Boeing will be able to deliver the ��_Dreamliner��_. Due to the production of individual components for the 787 being farmed out worldwide, there have been repeated delivery problems.
