Most Americans associate the Zero with the fateful attack on Pearl Harbor, as well as numerous engagements throughout the Pacific. But this resourceful fighter, fitted out as a seaplane, also performed duty as a convoy escort, most notably in the Aleutians in 1943 and 1944. This spectacular re-creation is designed to pass the closest inspection, and incorporates such details as the ribbed canopy and trio of pontoons. Painted in a camouflage and enhanced by authentic military markings, it�s the essential addition to any collection of WWII aircraft.
