Rainbow 30" by TMC Pacific Modelworks
Item Number: MBTRNB30Rainbow was launched on May 15, 1934 and was stationed in dry dock for two years in Bistol and was refitted as trial horse by Frederick W. Vanderbilt. In 1937, Rainbow was sold to Chandler Hovey, to race the defender selection trials, wherein Ranger eliminated it. In 1940, Rainbow was sold for scrap after the yacht was laid up at the end of 1937 at Herreshoff Manufacturing in Bristol.
