Pinta by TMC Pacific Modelworks
Item Number: MBTPI

La Pinta was the fastest of the three ships used by Christopher Columbus in 1492 during his first voyage across the Atlantic Ocean. Pinta was a caravel-type vessel and its real name was unknown. Traditionally, Spanish ships were named after saints and usually given nicknames, that's why Pinta's actual name was unknown, like the Nina.

Pinta was square rigged, weighing at approximately 60 tons with a length 20 meters and a width of 7 meters. Pinta has a crew capacity of 26 men. Pinta's Captain was Martin Alonso Pinzon.
