- GeminiJets® burst on to the diecast model airliner scene in the late 90's with the best 1:400 scale airliners anyone had seen. Today the older Gemini Jet models are highly collectible and the new designs often sell out quickly as well. All of the diecast airplanes they release are limited edition, single release. All of their diecast airline molds are made from aircraft manufacturers blueprints and the airline livery designs match the Pantone® color charts of their full-size airliner counterparts. When collecting 1:400 scall diecast models GeminiJets are the first models to make sure you have in your aircraft collection. Gemini Jets has a new model release of about 4 to 8 models on a monthly basis.
In 2004 GeminiJets added the GeminiMAC series of diecast military planes in 1:400 scale. There releases to date have been the C-17 and C-130.
In 2005 GeminiJets announced two new lines. The first was a 1:250 scale diecast series which has been very well recieved. These models have excellent detail and the landing gear actually moves up and down. The second new item was the Gemini Select series. These are 1:400 airliners limited to approximately 300 in each release making them even more desirable as collectibe airline models.
GeminiJets also has a growing line of 1:400 scale airport accessories including a large airport mat layout and some nice ground equipment.
