Carousel 1 1:48 Scale Diecast P-40 WarhawkCarousel 1 - Many diecast car manufacturers have begun to introduce their own lines of diecast model airplanes. Carousel 1 released its first model in 2006 of a 1:48 scale P-40 complete with display stand and a collectible box. With their longstanding expertise in Diecast models this first die-cast airplane is truly an outstanding peice of modelling. This is probably the best 1:48 scale diecast P-40 Warhawk to be released to date. The two P-40's in their line reflect the most famous Warhawk engagements. The first that of 2nd Lt. George Welch at Pearl Harbor and the second that of "Pappy" Boyington during his time with the AVG in China.
